did anybody have a problem acquiring connection when number of requestor
threads is more than the c3p0 max pool size?
If I have in my application a number of threads-requestors one less than he
c3p0 max pool size, everything works fine.
Otherwise, every thread that wants to acquire a connection, would be
infinitely waiting on com.mchange.v2.resourcepool.BasicResourcePool, a sort
I believe I have resolved sync issues in my code, also with the Hibernate
intrernal connection pool it works normally.
Thanks a lot for a responce.

Can you give more information about the problem? c3p0 releases are
tested against this case (loaded with 50 churning threads, with
maxPoolSize set much lower than that), and in my environment behave
as they should.
Some potential issues: Is it possible that your maxPoolSize is
greater than the number of Connections your database is willing to
give you? Are you sure your Connections are always being properly
checked in? (You might set c3p0.unreturnedConnectionTimeout, if you
are using c3p0-0.9.1, to test if there is a Connection leak
somewhere. If there is, set c3p0.debugUnreturnedConnectionStackTraces
to true to figure out where the problem is.)
What version of c3p0 are you using? Maybe send along the version-
banner and config dump that c3p0 logs at INFO on initialization?
