As was already discussed on the forum, this is not a patch that we will accept. It's an interesting idea, but there are far better ways to deal with lag (such as an authoritative server and lag compensation). Additionally, this is hackish at best, as it parses output and fails in cases of long callsigns. You also snagged some random code from the web to trim whitespace with no indication as to the source, so we have no way to verify this code is acceptable to use.
