Wanna suggest you to get rid of .NET: switch to mono instead -> www.mono-project.com (this could also mean multiplatform for your app).

Anyway an indipendent software would be even better for ReactOS (the open source NT clone): www.reactos.org

I also suggest you to keep in touch with Infra Recorder author, that is another really interesting GPL project (it has also been financed by Summer Of Code)

I intend to look at mono at some point at some point in the future, but that will be out a while. My goal here was to create a full featured Windows XP/Windows Vista application, while learning all I could about CDs, DVDs and dotnet.

The entire program is based on dotnet. This request is basically saying re-write the tool. That would be a new program and not BWGBURN. Therefore I am closing this something I would never do and call it that same thing as this program.

(Writing a C++ based, platform independent version of the burning engine is a real possibility however.)

No! That's the reason why I think that this program is incredible!
Remain .NET! As I know there is no burning program under Java right?
But due to bwgburn you can say, that .net has it! :)

But to be fair (and re-word what I think the previous boster was sugessting), it would be nice if the program ran under mono as well. I am looking at porting the engine to mono but have not gotten very far to date.

I am closing this as it is such a low priority that I am sure I am never going to work on this.
