The SourceForge page for this package describes it as "Public domain" - which means there is for practical purposes no copyright claim on it at all. That is incorrect; the package is copyrighted, and bears what appear to be "modified BSD" license terms. Having incorrect license information listed in SourceForge's database is a problem because it may cause potential users to make poor decisions about whether BuDDy is suitable for their purposes.
