I have just released an updated version 3.4.1.1 which fixes packaging issues on OSX 10.7.  This release should fix the issues you are experiencing as well; please let me know if this does not help.

    Cheers

    I have a MacBook Pro 15-inch, Late 2011, Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)

This message is displayed when I try to open the software:
“Buddi.app” is damaged and can’t be opened.  You should eject the disk image.
“Buddi.app” is on the disk image “Buddi-3.4.1.5.dmg”. Safari downloaded this disk image today at 1:12 PM from buddi.digitalcave.ca.

I thought I had it working but couldn't create a Budget Category after several trys so I deleted the program and tried to reload it but couldn't.

This looks like a program I could use so please help.

    olsonw,
Sorry to report that the same message is being displayed.
The file was as large as you said (6,000,800 bytes)
I'll try to load "Buddi" on my PC, but the Mac would be more convenient…
Thanks for your trying to help, Russ

    Hi Russ,
It sounds like the download was corrupted.  Try again, perhaps using the direct download link http://heanet.dl.sourceforge.net/project/buddi/Buddi%20%28Stable%29/3.4.1.5/Buddi-3.4.1.5.dmg
The downloaded disk image should be 6,000,800 bytes in size.
    Cheers

Using Buddi on the Mac works just as well as Windows, if not better (I use a Mac myself, so I tend to tweak things with that preference in mind).  If you want to email me (my email address is on the Buddi website) I can send you the Mac version as an attachment, or you can try downloading it again form the link provided.

    Let me know…

    Cheers
