When you say you log in, what do you mean? Buddi is a desktop application; you download it and then run the executable. It will run a program, at which point you can create a new data file, enter the income and expenses, and then save the document.
The screenshot you sent in the email was a screenshot of Source Forge. Source Forge is a website which hosts the downloads for multiple programs, including Buddi. It is not the Buddi application itself.
