Hello Mario,

Thanks for solving the looping process problem!

My question is:
When i download the log data from my Qstarz 1000 via bluetooth it takes a very long time (i have tried much different settings, now i'm using chunk=650 and chunk ahead request=0, this seems to work the fastest).
I seems that whatever i change, the speed stays the same (very slow), it looks like it downloads with 650 bit a second...
Any idea how to speed this up (i have WM6)?
Thanks in advance.
Regards Peter

    Hi Peter
Some users have reported good operation with a chunk size of 65536. Your WM6 device may be capable of doing this.
This is very much dependent on the PDA device and I have not yet found a perfect method to assure a good speed. The fix period has an influence too, as well as the NMEA strings emitted by the device. You could reduce the NMEA strings to RMC only and increase the fix frequency by setting the period to 500ms.
