Hello Mario,

Thank you for your project. It’s a really useful program, because it can be used on different platforms. I use it Pocket PC (Windows Mobile 5.0).
Unfortunately I can’t use the last versions (1.40 and 1.41) of your program on my Pocket PC. After that I installed the program with versions 1.40 or 1.41 I started it. And my Pocket PC hung each time with one screen (see attached picture IMG_4090-1.jpg). So, I had to make ‘soft reset’ after that. I have tried to reinstall program several times, but the result is the same.
So I have installed previous version (1.39) now and it works without any problems.
I’m using SuperWaba 5.84 and Pocket PC with WM 5.0.

Mario, do you have any ideas what wrong is?

I've had a look at the differences between the current version and 1.39, but I can't see anything obvious.

I've tried V1.42 in the emulator and it does work there.

I'ld suggest to move/delete the settings file (a move is more interesting to be able to reproduce the problem if that is the root cause).

I'll probably not respond the coming week.

    Hello Mario,

I’ve tried to install the new version (1.42). It doesn’t work on my FS Pocket LOOX C550 (ARM, WM5.0) again.
I had deleted the settings file before I installed the new versions. After the program was started Pocket PC hung right away. (With the screen I sent in previous message). I saved folder with the settings and a log files after soft reset. The length of DebugConsole.txt is 0 b.

I hope you will find the reason of malfunction the program.

    Thank you and best regards.

You can see if V1.43 brings any changes.

I've added a breakpoint in the SW to get more or less the same image as you had, therefore determining more or less where the problem is.

I've reordered some things. If it works, I do not have a logical explication for it, it then is just a good hunch of where side-effects could happen. In other cases, you might get a new image that helps us locate the problem better.

    Hello,

I’ve tried to install the new version (1.43) and I’ve got absolutely the same result as it was before with V(1.40 – 1.42). The program ‘freeze’ at the first screen. The image is the same too.
I’ve made ‘hard reset’ for my Pocket PC. After that I installed SuperWaba and BT747 Data Logger on the absolutely ‘clear system’. After the program was started Pocket PC hung again as mentioned before. So, I think it doesn’t matter what the system is.
I tried to use V1.39 - it works normally always.

    Hello Mario,

I’ve just seen the same problem in the thread (1906885).
So, I’ve tried to wait a bit longer after starting the program and I've got the same result. I had to wait about 5 minutes until the SuperWaba error window appeared with the same message: ‘Stack overflow’. After that DebugConsole file was created in the folder: ‘SuperWaba\BT747\’.

The contents of this file are below:

341899 An error was found in the program being
    run by the SuperWaba VM.

    Error: Stack overflow in
    waba/util/Vector.add(Ljava/lang/Object;)V

    Please notify the program's author.
    See debug console for details
(a txt in the program's folder)

    342333 ======= End =======

This is potentially solved (I can't try it).
Please try BT747_1.44_en_full.zip in 'debug_releases' on the download page.

    Hello Mario,

I’ve tried BT747 V1.44 – it has bug as previous versions.
It stopped with a stack overflow error:

445508 An error was found in the program being
    run by the SuperWaba VM.

    Error: Stack overflow in
    aa.addElement(Ljava/lang/Object;)V

    Please notify the program's author.
    See debug console for details
(a txt in the program's folder)

    445969 ======= End =======

    ---------------------------------------------

    And then I installed BT747 V1.44r1.

    It seems it works normally.
I didn’t notice any bugs for a while yet.

After working with several users, I was able to find the problem which is solved in 1.45.
