Can't install on Mac OS X.6.2 Snow Leopard

    When I try the web install, it fails with the following error info. I followed instructions elsewhere to use Terminal to create a Lock file, no problem doing that.

    Sorry for the late reply - -the notification went unnoticed apparently.

    I guess that you are on a mac computer.  The important part in the message is:
    Did find: /Users/dbg/Library/Caches/Java/cache/6.0/20/2476e394-5d32f797-n/librxtxSerial.jnilib:

    Which indicates that the native library does not contain appropriate native code.
    There are two webstarts : one with RXTX2.2pre ("unstable" serial library) and the default one.  Try the one you were not trying before.
