after I solved my question from the morning I have an other one where I'm lost without
I'm still trying to convert a dxf file in a stl file via the brl-cads own g formate.
However I manged brlcad to transform the dxf file into a g file but with some curiosities:
As content of the g file I get
This suprised me since I'm just used to the normal .s .r and .c formats within mged (I hope I don't mix up anything.)
Well, printing the sketch.n things workout well, but this seems to be just a 2D plot from my 3D Geometry from the top.
Anyway, the example.c.n/R files seem to contain some 3D information, according to their names and their positions in the original
So my question is: can I convert 3D-dxf files into .g files and if so how?
Second I tried to convert the out coming dxf file into a stl file which regularly ends in a segmentation fault. I assume that this is linked to the
previous problem, since the simple radio.g file from 2nd or 3rd tutorial works without complains when it comes to conversions.
Again I thank you for your trouble
best regards Colin
