While excercising Archer I was told that "ae" was an invalid command:
Anybody knows why I should believe that?

Heh, it's not a bad joke.. but you did find a bug in the documentation. The command should be "aet" for archer, where you specify azimuth, elevation, and (optionally) twist. The 'ae' command will probably be restored by the time the alpha release is made later this year, but thanks for pointing out the issue regardless.
