OS X on 10.6.8 Mini Core Solo - build

    I am on a

    32 bit OS X 10.6.8 first Intel Mini

    which is far as a 1.5 GHz Intel Core Solo can go

    I captured this message in X11 pop-up running xterm thinking I needed to have it available.
    I put the app from mounted dmg in "AA - During Build" directory instead of /Applications

    /Users/leetdavy/BRL-CAD/AA - During Build/BRL-CAD : MGED 7.22.0.app/Contents/Resources/script: line 9:
    ./rel-7.22.0/bin/mged: Bad CPU type in executable

    This I have seen with 64 bit executables.
    I was able to get running on HP 1125 ubuntu so I decided to build same way on OS X.

    I tried the xCode but system is way too slow compared to command line attempt.

    I deleted everything to try again with fresh tarball unpack.
    I created the brlcad-build as required.

    I am in the brlcad-build when I execute

    cmake .. -DBRLCAD_BUNDLED_LIBS=ON -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release

    I will post make observations in reply.
    I just began running so it will take a while.

    Except for CMAKE_SEARCH_OSX_PATHS warning about MacPorts I feel it will work
    as it returns these settings.

    These numbers seem to indicate that this machine is approximately 1387 times
    faster than the reference machine being used for comparison, a VAX 11/780
    running 4.3 BSD named VGR.  These results are in fact approximately 3.14
    orders of magnitude faster than the reference.

    mged didn't work !

    So I am stumped
