this is my first post. I have been able to download-install Bristol synth, *sudo apt get install etc) and after setting jack am able to get some sounds via midi. i hope to delve deeply into the thing. But i cannot find what or where the startBristol script is,
I started the program by using bash terminal command 'startBristol -dx7 -voices 8'
which seems to do the job, but is there some longer script which i need to use?

Hello there Tom. You can use 'startBristol -help' to open the manual page for Bristol to see all the other options you can use, neatly categorised.
