  • Whats wrong with current method ?
    Please explain yourself or I don't see any reason to keep the feature request and not just delete it as not relevant.

    BTW, I don't share with you your difficultity :)

    P.S> Explain yourself better - suggest clearly what you would like to see and give examples. I again don't see any reason to keep this request open :(

    How about Ctrl+Alt+Del directly? This time like VMware Workstation with enhanced virtual keyboard enabled.

  • Ctrl-Alt-Del directly can't be passed because this combination captured by host OS, isn't ?

    I don't have Vmware Worstation to look on it - it costs too much :(

    When VMware Workstation is used with the "Use enhanced virtual keyboard" option enabled, Ctrl-Alt-Del is processed by the VM only.

  • Please stop bombing the tracker.
    I have no idea how to implement this anyway - I am not Windows programmer.

    P.S> And yes, I saw your i430fx manual, will try to find some time to read it.
    Would be nice if you could summarize the differences between 430fx and 440fx that Bochs currently implements in short message,

    Sorry for the delay, Stainslav. I found the i440FX datasheet!
    You'll see that unlike the i430FX, the i440FX was not designed for use with the original Pentiums.

    Even if you don't know, the original Pentiums were the first ones ever manufactured.

  • No idea what are you talking about.
    Bochs is written on C++

    Beacuse Bochs is written on C++, here is an example methodon how to trap keys:
    // Process keys being pressed
    SendMessage(NULL, WM_KEYDOWN, (WPARAM) VK_CONTROL);
    SendMessage(NULL, WM_KEYDOWN, (WPARAM) VK_ALT);
    SendMessage(NULL, WM_KEYDOWN, (WPARAM) VK_DELETE);
    // Process release of keys
    SendMessage(NULL, WM_KEYUP, (WPARAM) VK_CONTROL);
    SendMessage(NULL, WM_KEYUP, (WPARAM) VK_ALT);
    SendMessage(NULL, WM_KEYUP, (WPARAM) VK_DELETE);

    I know, Stanislav! How about making shortcuts work with Right Alt and Delete, Tab or whatever?
    This method is the same one used with Virtual PC.
