I also could not get the 0.4 distribution to start. I had to get a anonymous CVS tarball from Sourceforge, untar it locally, export CVSROOT=[dir of untarred tarball], checkout everything from the local CVS copy, tar the checked out files, scp to my windows box, and untar the files.

That is, I checked out the latest code instead of using the distribution.

Now, THAT will irritate potential users. If the distribution won't run it's worthless - even damaging to Boa.

  • Same problem here (SuSE Linux 7.0, fresh wxPython install, Python 2.0).

    On page http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=1909
the link to 'Browse CVS Repository' only works if you change cvsroot to CVSROOT.

Browsing the tree, I see a lot of recent activity (not only on the affected module). Maybe there will be a new version soon?
