I have dowloaded the CVS version of Boa,
RCS-ID: $Id: Boa.py,v 1.24 2001/09/06 01:57:10
riaan Exp $

and when I run Boa.py, I get a segmentation fault with
a message, 'Unexpected EOF while parsing (line 0)'
while 'importing Designer'. Clicking OK on the dialog
box generates a core file. This is 100% reproducable
on my system running;

RedHat 6.2, kernel 2.4.3
Python 2.1.1
wxPython-2.3.0-1
wxGTK-gl-2.3.0-1
wxPython-gl-2.3.0-1
wxGTK-devel-2.3.0-1
wxGTK-2.3.0-1

I have gzipped the core file, but it is still 5Mb. I
won't upload unless you want to see it.

    I have been able to get the program to work using;
    python Boa.py
    but not with '#!/usr/bin/python' in the first line and
    chmod'ing it a+x. I also tried '#!/usr/bin/env python' as
    well (with python in my path of course) and running;
    Boa.py

    Hello,

    Don't you get a Python traceback you can post?
    As this doesn't happen to me (with almost the same setup, I'm running Python 2.0, the rest is the same) I
    wouldn't
    know where to start looking.

    I would not know what to do with the core file.

    Something to try:
    Run Boa in trace mode (with command line parameter -T)
    This generates a (huge) file called Boa.trace.
    Please post the last line of this file.
