Hello,
In Mediawiki 1.21.1 with BlueSpice installed a four digit hex number appears at the top left of the screen when using the standard search (under the logo) on IE7/IE8 in a domain environment with group policy. I have no idea where it is coming from. If anyone has seen this I would appreciate some guidance.

This is a very strange error. First of all, this is not the search, it's the form to create or suggest articles. The search is in the top right corner ;-)
Are you using the latest BlueSpice Version 1.21.1? I've tried to reproduce the strange output with MW 1.21.1 and the latest BlueSpuice and I didn't manage to get this error.

Could you try to upgrade BlueSpice to 1.21.0 and report back if the error still occurs?

Hi tweichart. I upgraded to 1.21.0 and the issue persists. I am sure it has something to do with group policy and java script as it doesnt happen to people with elevated rights. I dont know why though. We have deployed stuff like joomla and wordpress that contain a bunch of java script without problems in this environment.
I get this from the IE debugger:
    Line: 418
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method

Thank you again for your help
