Yeah, I have to say I'm not familiar with how the libraries are supposed to be setup on OSX. It's a good thing that the double precision version is working without the API! It seems to me like you are very close, but unfortunately I can not be of too much more help at the moment. If you continue but still get stuck, I can try to look up info.
