Hi Steven - Thanks for the new release! I had a question for you - I'm using 99.8. I'll check this in the new build, but I think it's been active on my machin= e for a few major releases: The command shell that I open blue with doesn't get feedback from the csoun= d command as csound is executed from blue. Sometimes it's helpful to see why csound failed to execute, rather than just the Begin exec/End exec messages I get now. ;) Is this a known issue, or something only I'm seeing? If you could point me to when in the codebase the csound command is launched, I could investigate (if it's not by design). Thanks and wonderful job, as usual - b |

Hi Ben, If I understand correctly, the output got moved to a new output dialog window, accessible from the Windows menu or using F7. You can also disable output to the output dialog and have it output as it used to to the command shell by going into Program Options and clicking the checkbox for show csound output. If this isn't what you're talking about, just let me know! ^_^ steven On 1/10/06, Ben McAllister <be...@gm...> wrote: > Hi Steven - > > Thanks for the new release! Gotcha - I think the logic is backwards in the program options, though: It says 'show csound output', but only shows the output when NOT checked :) Thanks for pointing me to the obvious, just the same. b On 1/10/06, Steven Yi <ste...@gm...> wrote: > > Hi Ben, > > If I understand correctly, the output got moved to a new output dialog > window, accessible from the Windows menu or using F7. Well, it will still show but is routed to the output dialog. Maybe it's just badly labelled? Would it be better for it to say "Use Csound Output Dialog" ? (Or anything better suggestions?) steven On 1/10/06, Ben McAllister <be...@gm...> wrote: > Gotcha - I think the logic is backwards in the program options, though: = It > says 'show csound output', but only shows the output when NOT checked :) > Thanks for pointing me to the obvious, just the same. > b > > > On 1/10/06, Steven Yi <ste...@gm...> wrote: > > > > Hi Ben, > > > > If I understand correctly, the output got moved to a new output dialog > > window, accessible from the Windows menu or using F7.
