Hi Steven and all,
I am just bringing your attention to this post:
Pvsfilter outputs some printouts that is crashing my system with CPU
overload, when used inside blue this completely freezes blue. Victor
suggested that I use the command > /dev/null. This works outside blue, but
when used in blue (in the advance command settings) it is not recognized and
I get a message that says there are too many command arguments and blue
doesn't render. Does this mean that I cannot use my pvsfilter plugin!? This
would be a tragedy for me as I make most of my sounds with this plugin in
If there are any other ways to disable the printouts from within blue I
would appreciate your help (-O null is not working with this opcode).
Otherwise I guess I will have to use another editor for this opcode until
the next release of csound.
Many thanks in advance
