This is without a doubt the new hotness in launcher/automation guys so well done but you need to be able to assign file and folder paths to a hotkey.

I quite often have to jump to a folder on a remote server, several folders deep and I'm currently using executor to do that but i don't want 2 launchers running at once. One REALLY handy way of doing this in executor is by the 'Send To Executor' shell extension and typing the keyword. It also launches the dialog quite a bit faster than blaze so maybe some performance enhancements there would be cool cus I'm usually typing before the dialog appears. Other than that it's pretty damn sweet.

Hi there, thanks for your suggestion!

Blaze has the Add New Command command which takes into account the selected folder item in Windows Explorer. Currently it only works for files but I will change this for working with folders too.

This way, you will just have to select that folder in windows explorer, open Blaze, type Add New Command, and when the new form shows up, just hit the Ok button.

I will try to release this feature in the next release. I will update this tracker entry when I do so.

    Thanks for your contribution,
    Gabe

    Hi there.

Version 0.4.8.8 already allows you to add folders as new commands. You just have to select it on any windows explorer window (except the Desktop) and type on Blaze "add new command". ;)

However, I might integrate with a shell extension in the future.

    Thanks for your suggestion.
