In this article, all the images show up fine but when you click on them, they all show the same image: http://aciqra.caglow.com/news/45 It seems to be a problem in liberty/view_image.php.

    I should also mention, I had this problem in 2.7 so I upgraded to 2.8 and the problem is still there.

    Also, I think this problem has something to do with the article module in the upper right. The image that is always shown is the first attachment posted of the articles shown in the box.

    Personally I don't have unmanaged attachments so I load images into a gallery and use them from there.
    Since the URL has the right 'attachment id', but is displaying attachment 18, it is the process of mapping the pretty url to content number which is going wrong :(
    As a quick check on this can you load the four pictures into a gallery and then up date the article to use the attachment id's from the gallery ... need to flag this up in the irc channel #bitweaver ...

    How would you use the attachment numbers in the gallery? The images are part of a gallery but the "attachment" field just says: {attachment id=19 size=medium}

    Also, I'd like to point out that the "Content this attachment belongs to" at the bottom of the attachment page is correct but the image that is being displayed is not.

    The problem is with the way what I call 'unmanaged attachments' are being processed using 'pretty url' decoding. None of my own setups have either pretty url or unmanaged attachments so I can't check out what you are seeing. I prefer to load all of the pictures I am using into fisheye galleries, so I can use the same picture in several places if I want. Once a picture is available in the gallery, addng {attachment id=xx size=medium} at the point you want the picture to appear will add it to any html content ( news, wiki, blogs and the like ).
    Check out http://enquirysolve.co.uk/wiki/index.php?page=Windows+Manual+-+W7+Setup ... click on image for bigger view, and http://enquirysolve.co.uk/fisheye/view_image.php?image_id=4941 is in the gallery of pictures for this manual.

    All the images on that page are added like {attachment id=19 size=medium} on the article. They are all in a fisheye gallery. The behavior when clicking seems a bit different though. Could that be because of a difference in themes?

    Exactly ... http://aciqra.caglow.com/liberty/view/file/19 is not finding image 19, but rather image 18, since http://aciqra.caglow.com/images/image/19 is not finding a picture. Switch off pretty url and see if that works?
    I can't debug this at all, so I'm offering you another workaround that should at least give the right pictures, by loading the pictures into a gallery ...

    AH - keep forgetting that the default set-up does not use 'flat id numbers' ;)
    On my setup, content_id=image_id=attachment_id, so I don't have the miss match!
    Also sorry I had not spotted that you were using a gallery - normally I see fisheye for that.

    In the admin->liberty->plugins options you will find 'Fisheye Image' and 'Image'. The first is the one I use for pictures ...
    {image id=(image id num) size=xxx} the second is documented http://www.bitweaver.org/wiki/DataPluginImage
