I'd like to be able to export auction data so I can
compare how auctions for a particular item have gone
historically.

For items that are auto-deleted, this would be a classic
case of "log the item and all its associated history
information to the export database before deletion."

Any favored output? CSV seems reasonable to me.

CSV works, as does character-delimited (such as tab or ~).
That will make importing it into another program easy. I
would hope that comments would be preserved in the CSV as
well because more than likely, that's where I'd put some
data helping me to classify things in a sort.

To all who are working on Bidwatcher, a great big thanks for
doing such a great job! I love it! :)
