Hi, is there any chance for a 64-bit version of this driver ?

    Hello!

Starting from Windows Vista 64-bit drivers require digital signature. And I don't have it. Moreover it is not free. So chances of the 64-bit version of this driver is very low :(

  • Hi, could you also make one for bearpaw 2400cu? I've been searching but I've never found one that works on windows 7. =(

Hi! Sorry, but I don't have any bearpaw 2400cu for testing. Contact me sergiusthebest@users.sourceforge.net if you have one and wish to do testing.

  • Please, accept my utmost gratitude for this project. I used to scan with a notebook during all those years.

  • Hello MUSTEK Be@r paw scaner users,

do you also troubleshoot your not working device under win7 x64 ?

I do have found a solution for x64 and MUSTEK "uncompatible" scanners!!!

You can use windows XP mode = virtual windows XP (32 bit) computer, running from inside Win7 environment.
The solution is a bit un-comfortable, but for my few scanns per year…. better than many money for a new compatible device. :-) One more point: whay throw away a long time well working device with good quality (Eko-un-logical)?

Please follow this Microsoft link: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx

In virtual PC enable USB connection to the scanner (at the screen top in USB interface section), normally install driver with scanner app and use it as you need. Remember, your win7 "C:\" drive names in virtual XP machine as a network drive  "\\tsclient\C\" so remember set properly the paths for scanning document save directory. If you want to copy, you have to install your printer driver to virtual PC,etc…

Do not thow-away your old working scanner, the working solution exists. … :-)

ADMIN: Please note this very usefull information to the bottom of the main project page as the alternative way … Thank you
