Hi Gilberto,

To start in server mode from the interpreter:

BeanShell 1.1a14 - by Pat Niemeyer (pat@pat.net)
bsh % server(5555);
Httpd started on port: 5555
Sessiond started on port: 5556
bsh % sending file: /bsh/util/lib/remote.html
sending file: /bsh/util/RemoteBshApplet.class

When you run the browser with the url 127.0.0.1:5555 you will get the remote.html page containing the applet. At this point I have never been able to go further (either on Linux or Windows) as I get the following exception in the browser:

Error loading class: bsh.util.RemoteBshApplet
java.lang.ClassFormatError
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: bsh.util.RemoteBshApplet
 at com/ms/vm/loader/URLClassLoader.loadClass
 at com/ms/vm/loader/URLClassLoader.loadClass
 at com/ms/applet/AppletPanel.securedClassLoad
 at com/ms/applet/AppletPanel.processSentEvent
 at com/ms/applet/AppletPanel.processSentEvent
 at com/ms/applet/AppletPanel.run
 at java/lang/Thread.run

If someone has any clue, I will appreciate.

Regards,

Andre

Subject: [Beanshell-users] Starting the interpreter in server mode

Hi folks,

I can not find out how to use the beanshell in server mode so that I can use the WWW browser to create and run a script. I read the docu but could not find any information.

Some help?

Thanks,
