Hello All,

I just found makeWorkspace.bsh and desktop.bsh.

Has anyone used these scripts to help with

add a JConsole?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello,

The code listing below is in the constructor for a class

which extends a JFrame.

I would like to use the JConsole as a shell window so

users can execute scripts for my application.

The frame shows the first time but it is very small. I have

to resize it to see the console.  I did

setSize(340,280) but this doesn’t seem to matter.

There is no menu like shown on the website and no

commands like cd work. Although, the commands I have

developed in my application work.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Dan Fabrizio

    ConsoleInterface console = new JConsole();

    getContentPane().add((Component)console);

    Interpreter interp = new Interpreter(console);

    interp.setVariable("taApp", taApp );

    interp.setVariable("taFrame", taFrame );

    //interp.run();

    new Thread(interp).start();

    pack();

    setVisible(true);
