Hi,

Upon installation, I get the error:

"There was a problem importing the database sample data. The following error had occured:

1436: Thread stack overrun: 8888 bytes used of a 131072 byte stack, and 128000 bytes needed. Use 'mysqld -O thread_stack=#' to specify a bigger stack.; CALL addCommonSettings('boxAccountFavorites', 'BOX_ACCOUNT_FAVORITES', 'general', 1, 1, -1, 'Account Favorites', 1, 'index', '_self', 1, 'boxAccountFavorites', 0, 'index', '_self', -1, 'boxAccountFavorites', 0, 'index', '_self', 'header03', '', '', '')

Please verify the database server and try again."

I cannot complete the installation. Please help

I have now tried installing Batavi with another hosting company. But am now getting the error:

"There was a problem importing the database. The following error had occured:
ini_restore() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/stplace4/public_html/it/batavi/libraries/database/btv_Database_mysql.php (line 775)
Please verify the connection parameters and try again."

This is happening even before the sample data is imported. This is a great shame as I was really looking forward to using Batavi as it does everything I want which is not present in standard oscommerce, but unfortunately it appears to be full of bugs.

I solved the problem by trying different hosting companies.

There are some very specific hosting requirements with Batavi which I cound not find documented anywhere. You either need to have a dedicated server or VPS so that you can fully control how your hosting is set up. Alternatively it would help greatly if the documentation for this was improved so that users can understand exactly what the requirements are to host and install it.
