I installed barry v0.13 and rebooted. I connected my Peal 8130 and it didn't give me the usual error message about the charging signal being too weak. However, I did notice that my computer was running awfully slow. I found that udevd was running at 77%+. I killed it and all is well, however I know that's not a viable bypass.

    Hi,

What system / distro are you using?

Can you reproduce this regularly? When the CPU is at 77%, are there other processes being spawned? Is bcharge being run continually?

Try running the "udevmonitor" command when this happens. What kind of messages do you see?

If you restart udev after killing it, does the problem go away, even though the Blackberry is still plugged in?

    Thanks,
    - Chris
