Hello, To get Bacula to use SSL will probably require modification of the following files in <bacula-source>/src/lib: bsock.h, bnet.c, and bnet_server.c So the answer to your question is yes (if you include bnet_server.c). The same routines are used by Windows clients, so any changes will apply there as well. To really integrate SSL correctly, the configuration file for each daemon will need to be changed in order to add a user definable directory where SSL should look for the certificates. If you do decide to work on this and you are going to contribute the code, please start with the current code in the CVS (or at least bacula-1.30-24Apr03.tar.gz on SourceForge). You will probably also want to take a quick look at at least the first few chapters of the Internals documentation at: http://www.bacula.org/html-manual/internals.html Best regards, Kern On Sat, 2003-04-26 at 00:22, Dan Cardamore wrote: > Hi, > > I'm considering using Bacula to perform network backups of client's > servers.
