I was just reading: http://www.bacula.org/5.2.x-manuals/en/developers/developers/Running_Regression_Script.html#SECTION001521000000000000000 Comparing this section: # Set your database here #WHICHDB="--with-sqlite=${SQLITE_DIR}" #WHICHDB="--with-sqlite3=${SQLITE3_DIR}" #WHICHDB="--with-mysql" WHICHDB="--with-postgresql" With what I see in the sample configuration file, I think a change is required. The above should be replaced with: # Set what backend to use "postresql" "mysql" or "sqlite3" DBTYPE="postgresql" # Set your database here #WHICHDB="--with-${DBTYPE}=${SQLITE3_DIR}" WHICHDB="--with-${DBTYPE}" The doc later mentions: # You may put your real host name here, but localhost is valid also # and it has the advantage that it works on a non-newtworked machine HOST="localhost" But the sample code contains: # You may put your real host name here, but localhost is valid also # and it has the advantage that it works on a non-newtworked machine HOST="127.0.0.1" NOTE: I think the above should be used, because 127.0.0.1 will always work, but localhost might not (IPv6 only installs not withstanding). NOTE: change non-newtworked to non-networked DISCLOSURE: I'd be doing these changes myself, but I've never been able to get a documentation development environment working. There are too many tools that I couldn't get to work. -- Dan Langille - http://langille.org/ |
