A fix for this is on your windows server 2008 server navigate to c:/program files/bacula/ (or wherever you installed bacula) look for a folder called plugins look for a file named bacula-fd.conf open with wordpad or notepad in the filedaemon section look for a line that looks like this: Plugin Directory = "c:\\program files\\Bacula\\plugins" (where this corresponds to your setup.) If it is not there create it. Also check that it is not commented out. If it is, remove the hash (#) from in front of it. then go and restart the service.
