I set up a daily incremental, and identified the pool to have 10 in. It worked fine and each time a change was needed I labelled them on the fly, like 002, 003 etc. Its just finished tape 010 and is asking me to mount a new one, the message is the same as the others i.e. please use "label" to create a new one, and NOT "please mount volume 001". I did mount tape 001 anyway, but it refused to continue the backup and is still asking for a new one. First time you initialize tape 1 to 4 I suspect you have another volretention time affected to the pool. 31536000 / 86400 ( 24h ) = 365 days When you change the retention time to your pool it doesn't affect already initialized tape. You just have to use the update command in bconsole and adjust the retention for the tape. This is not magic it just writted inside the manual. -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl 2830 Vellerat - Switzerland Tél : ++41 32 435 7171 Fax : ++41 32 435 7172 gsm : ++41 78 802 6760 www.ioda-net.ch Centre de Formation et de Coaching En Ligne www.cfcel.com |
