Hi Kern, I installed and tested that new WIN32 client 1.33.4 (22 Mar 2004) = Windows 2000 MVS NT 5.0.2195 . I get better performance , before 137 KB/s and now 434 KB/s . While debugging I noticed my server was almost out of memory, I think = that could affect it.=20 I will run more test and keep you posted. Thank you for your hard work and your help. ------------------------------------------- Andr=E9 Larose BCE Emergis=20 Tel :(514) 868-2200 x3934 Fax:(514) 868-2235=20 -----Original Message----- From: Kern Sibbald [mailto:ke...@si...] Sent: Monday, March 22, 2004 3:39 PM To: Larose, Andre Cc: 'bac...@li....' Subject: RE: [Bacula-users] Windows client rate I guess that I missed that because your email arrives in html format (I imagine) and the type size is so tiny in is almost unreadable. I = suspect you are not doing Full saves or you are doing something very different because your test results do not correspond to what two or three other users have reported -- i.e. that the native Win32 client is 4 times faster than the Cygwin version.
