Thanks for the pointer. I don't see any source; just the executables
are available for download. That's a definite strike against using it.
The gui looks pretty good though.
I currently plan on using vanilla rsync on the client (just like
sync2nas does already). sync2nas adds a client-side gui and allows
client push, and is just a gui frontend and scheduler for rsync.
BackupPC is setup as server pull, with a server-side gui, so they
are pretty different. Client-side push could be supported sometime,
allowing you to use BackupPC's rsync transport as a backend for
sync2nas for sites that like client-push. I'll keep it in mind.
