I've been using BackupPC on Debian for months and I'm very happy with it.
I now have to run it on Mandriva 2006, but unfortunately there is no
package for this Linux distribution (as far as I know). And I must
admit that I'm not very familiar with RedHat-based distros at the
So far, I've just been able to install and start the service, but I
can't figure what packages to install (and to configure them) in order
to make Apache2 and Perl happy, so that I can run the Web GUI.
Could someone tell me what path to follow with Apache2 and mod_perl
installation/configuration? (I was not able to find any step-by-step
guide to installing BackupPC on this system).

This works under Mandriva as well as Mandrake.
