Greetings,

I've been running a BackupPC server that backs up a few linux boxes and one windows box.  It's worked successfully for many months.  I recently upgraded the windows box to XP and while the backups worked the first few times, they now fail to run.  It appears the backups timeout.
On the backuppc server, i'm running: BackupPC 2.0.2, OpenSSH_2.5.2p2, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, rsync version 2.5.6  protocol version 26.

On the windows box, i'm running cygwin1.dll 1005.5.0.0, OpenSSH_3.7.1p2, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0.9.7c, rsync  version 2.5.6  protocol version 26.

Here's the error log (some lines deleted for brevity):

the last few lines of the log are:

2003/11/17 14:44:20 incr backup started back to 2003-11-03 13:41:47 for directory /
2003/11/17 16:44:43 Got fatal error during xfer (Child exited prematurely)
2003/11/17 16:44:53 Dump aborted (Child exited prematurely)

I can't think of anything I've changed since it worked correctly the first few times on XP (there is one full backup, and 2 incr backups completed, all 14 days old. All the files in that directory are fairly small.

thanks for any insight.
