For modeling it's very important to be able to rotate
around the selection. Wheter it's an object or a
component of it - like one vertex.
Thus several modes should be availible:
Rotate around View-Center, rotate around selection
(case senstive concerning modes ... rotate around
selected objects when in object-mnode or selected edges
when i edge-mode).
Maybe even more modes can be useful? maybe somehting
like considering the axis too (local, world, view).

I forgot to say that the current rotate around behaviour is
not very clear to me. First i thought i might rotate around
the world source [0,0,0] but it doesn't. And when moving a
bit around then it become more a look-around behaviour
instead od a rotate around. Is this a bug?

I just imported a model of mine from max through .3ds and i
am realizing that this 'roating around selection' is an
absolute must have feature!
