I've created a website using MS Frontpage and it
works well for my needs. I attempted to download
Awstats 6.5.exe and get error message "cannot find
any Perl Interpreter in your PATH".

I have downloaded the latest version of Perl from
ActiveState.com and it resides at C:/Program File.

I have gotten used to using "dummie-proof" shells and
have not programmed code since the Basic/Cobol era.

What am I Missing? How can I getAwstats to download/
function without becoming a full-time programmer?

Thank you for your time and help.

If this can help anyone, because perl has to be in the
windows path, you should reboot after installing activestate
    perl!

Then things work like a charm!

    http://<whatever>/awstat.pl?config=<your-config>

    Hope this helps!
