I’ve successfully modified the extras script to capture
the value pair sent to a dynamic page for many of my
other virtual sites. However when I modify it to go on a
site for a customer that uses directories and the
filenames are left out, so no filename is in the path

the path similar to how it is in the logfile
e.g. http://website.com/catalog/product_description/?
DSKU=1234&bla=123&bla=12333

Awstats will not pick up the log entries because there is
no file name.

To test I’m not totally loosin’ it – I added the second half
of the script ExtraSectionCondition1 to look for the
filename then completed my path in a browser with
index.php, and sure enough it shows up in the stats
page.
the line as it is in the .conf file
ExtraSectionCondition1="URL,\/catalog\/product_descrip
tion\/|URL,\/catalog\/product_description\/index.php"

Any one out there with experience on this type of
direcory based only URL – or how to get around this
little issue?
(and BTW adding in the filename to the URL’s on the
site is NOT an option )

thanks - JS
