Hello, I created a patch (http://pastebin.com/LUrErwNn) for adding average time taken to Urls section.

Discussion

  • Install:
    1. Apply the patch from awstats root.
    2. Add "%timetaken" to the LogFormat param, i.e. "%other %virtualname %host %other %other %time1 %methodurl %code %bytesd %refererquot %uaquot %timetaken".
    3. Add "T" to the ShowPagesStats param, i.e. "PBTEX".
    4. Reparse logs.
    5. See section "Urls" for a new column "Time Taken (Avg.)".

      Hi!

      Thanks a lot for your work. It works ok, but I think the response time are in "ms", while the report is writing "s". Can you please confirm?

      Thanks

    Hi,

    I've followed these instructions but my timetaken column isn't populating with data. Any ideas? I believe this is exactly what I'm looking for! I can include any files that will be helpful for you.
    Thank you!

    1. List the LogFormat param.
    2. List any row from log file.

    Hi, thank you for the response.

    This is an IIS log that I'm using, on Windows. I've tried variations of the time taken variable, the actual IIS value is time-taken.

    Logformat line is-
    LogFormat="date time cs-method cs-uri-stem cs-username c-ip cs-version cs(User-Agent) cs(Referer) sc-status sc-bytes %timetaken"

    Header from the IIS log file-
    Fields: date time cs-method cs-uri-stem cs-uri-query cs-username c-ip cs-version cs(User-Agent) cs(Referer) sc-status sc-bytes time-taken

    Row of the IIS log file-
    2012-11-19 05:00:15 GET /haz/Wrkflw.aspx F_User=nuviewtocort&F_Pswd=NuViewtocort*1&F_NavForm=PayAudCor&N_SysRcds_main_1=250&N_SysStrId_main_1=1645657&F_Cmd=find&F_IntegrationProgram=CortPayroll - 192.168.10.130 HTTP/1.1 - - 200 323 640

    1. Check the 3rd item from the manual.
    2. Have you tried to remove the percent symbol?

      LogFormat="date time cs-method cs-uri-stem cs-username c-ip cs-version cs(User-Agent) cs(Referer) sc-status sc-bytes timetaken"

    3. It is strange that all the params without the percent symbol, my LogFormat-string looks like %other %virtualname %host %other %other %time1 %methodurl %code %bytesd %refererquot %uaquot %timetaken, try to add % like me.
