Hi,

Please consider adding a "Directory Report" to
AWStats. I've previously used Analog and I'm missing
this feature in AWStats.

Best regards.

    webalizer also provided GroupURL :

    GroupURL This keyword allows grouping URL's. Useful for
    grouping
    complete directory trees.

    and configure like:

    Grouping options

    GroupURL /cgi-bin/* CGI Scripts

    GroupURL /images/* Images

    You already have it (almost) with ExtraSection

    Example : to get the list of top directories requested
    under /home, you can create the ExtraSection 1 as following:

    ExtraSectionName1="List of top level 2 path under /home"
    ExtraSectionCondition1="URL,^\/home\/.*"
    ExtraSectionFirstColumnTitle1="Directory name "
    ExtraSectionFirstColumnValues1="URL,^\/home\/([\w]+)\/"
    ExtraSectionStatTypes1=PHK
    MaxNbOfExtra1=50
    MinHitExtra1=1

    This would indeed be a most helpful feature.

    [Note, this issue is also being tracked in Debian bug #302211.]

    Because this feature can already be done with ExtraSection
    feature, priority is set lower

    I disagree with the lowering of the priority. It can be
    manually ahcked with ExtraSection, but this is not a
    scalable solution for large websites with many directories,
    nor for administrators of many small websites.

    I think that the added value of this feature, the fact that
    so many other competing products provide it, and the many
    requests you've received for it merit giving this feature a
    higher priority.
