I have a single ASP.NET project that serves multiple web sites (i.e. www.mysite1.com, www.mysite2.com). The content returned (and size) is different depending on which URL accessed the site. Since both sites are using the same IIS web site, thus the same log file - is there any way to get AWStats to show the bandwidth usage of each site separately?
IIS under Windows Server 2000/2003 has the ability to host multiple sites. Once the individual sites are configured, you can setup each site's logging properties. I've run AWStats under this type of configuration without any issue.
If you're stuck with Windows XP, which cannot host multiple sites, I suggest moving to Apache 2.0 if that is an option with your ASP content.
Thanks for the response, but I need to use just one IIS site that can serve multiple sites - for configuration purposes.
