Work at SourceForge, help us to make it a better place! We have an immediate need for a Support Technician in our San Francisco or Denver office.
We've been using awstats for 2 years now and we really love it.
We have a new requirement to track stats for each individual news article that we write. Can we setup awstats to track individual pages instead of the entire domain?
If we have 3 news articles:
Can we have a seperate stats page for each one? Or can I only have 1 domain level stats page that shows the history of those three pages togethor?
AWStats should be tracking all pages on your domain.
For instance, one of my sites uses a file called 'document_display.php' to call particular news articles. When I wanted it to display the actual article ID's, so that I can see what articles are most popular, I needed to modify the 'URLQuerySeparators' and the 'URLWithQuery' parameters in my .conf file.
So instead of just seeing "/document_display.php" under my pages-url section I see "/document_display.php?document_id=455877", the actual article that was viewed.
