    Hallo,

I have a small problem, with awstats and may one of you could help me.

On our webserver we have anonym weblogs. Every new IP we got get a country code and and a session code.

Its no problem to use this logs by awstats but if I check the output by the original one. I see that I now have less visitors then the original output file.

As I take a look on the original log file I saw less unique IPs then awstats visitors.

But I haven't found the procedure awstats do this, yet. But may some of you could help me,

    thanks,

    Moritz

      Hi,

You write "I now have less visitors then the original output file" and "on the original log file I saw less unique IPs then awstats visitors". That seems contradictory to me.

Can you clarify the problem with:
      - number of unique IP addresses in the log file
      - number of unique visitors in AWStats for the same period
