    Hi Everyone,
I can't figure out how to get the hostinfo stuff to work. I have tried to install xwhois but I'm not sure where I should be getting it from. There seems to be a few versions around.

    I'm Running IIS on windows 2000 SP4

When I click on the question mark I receive the follwoing messge.

    The Whois command failed.
Did the server running AWStats is allowed to send WhoIs queries (If a firewall is running, port 43 should be opened from inside to outside) ?

I don't think it is a firewall problem as I don't have any restrictions on things going out.

Any ideas on what to do about this or where I can find more info?

    Thanks in advance
    David

I'm still trying to fiuge this out.
I maneged to get the perl module to install using ppm. The details of that command are below incase someone else has a hard time figuring it out.

However it didn't help my problem. I still get the same error message.

Is there a way to turn on debuging so I can see exactly where things are failing?

Thanks in advance for any help.
