Please examine patch 2002_nboflastupdatelookuptosave.patch in Debian Git repo:
http://git.debian.org/?p=collab-maint/awstats.git;a=commitdiff;h=4d4627e582ad42bdea2e140f2f0789539ab92839

Original report follows:

I came across this while analyzing how to optimize AWStats DNS lookups.
The script contains:

$NBOFLASTUPDATELOOKUPTOSAVE=500;
$LIMITFLUSH=5000;

Yet, @AllowedCLIArgs and later parsing includes only 'limitflush', but
nothing for the lookups to save.

That whole constants section and the QueryString stuff seems like the script
is geared a lot towards remote CGI usage, but not really toward CLI usage.
I don't want to have to dpkg-divert the entire script just to change one
silly variable.
