No

To prevent everybodys scripts needing to be changed might
it be possible to add back ALL the depreciated verbs as stubs
calling the new code. Like has been done for
GetLeftChannel()===GetChannel(0) and
GetRightChannel()===GetChannel(1)

At least the following appears needed :-

Normalize(left, right)===Normalize((left+right)/2)
AssumeSampleRate()===(restore and rework code)
HighPassAudio()===???(restore code)
LowPassAudio()===???(restore code)
MonoToStereo(ClipL, ClipR)===MergeChannels(ClipL, ClipR)

p.s. Anyone know why the High and Low Pass filters were
deleted?

    The filters were remeved because they produced very bad
    results, primary because of too large cut-off window. Until
    som better code is found, use external applications for this
    task.

    MonoToStereo makes good sense to implement. Normalize
    doesn't really map that well. Use normalize, followed by an
    amplify(left,right) produces similar results.

    What's wrong with AssumeSampleRate?

    Oh - AssumeSampleRate wasn't merged into 2.5
    Fixed.

    MonoToStereo now maps to the appropriate MergeChannels
