Avidemux 2.6.3 crashes opening a video file via CLI

Avidemux 2.6.3 (Win32) crashes when I try to open a video file with the filename given as command line parameter (dropping a video file on its desktop icon, or calling it at the command line interpreter).

Opening the same file in an already running instance works without crashing.

Attached are the admlog's of both sessions. According to the difference, the MS AppCrash dialog appears between [checkForValidPts] and [seektoTime].

When I want to load Avidemux 2.6.3, it doesn't load.

When compile a version 2.6.0 - 2.6.1 in ffmpeg, get the error:
/usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-slackware-linux/4.5.2/../../../../x86_64-slackware-linux/bin/ld: cannot find-lADM6avutil
collect2: implementation of ld was completed with return code 1
make[3]: *** [libavcodec/libavcodec.so.54] Error 1

AgiliaLinux is based on slackware. In place of ffmpeg is using libav, is installed

Infinate loop - cannot go to next keyframe

If you have a portion of video at the end of the file that you want to remove, I position and set Marker A. Then I drag the slider to the end, then attempt to fine tune it with the thumbslider to get to the very end. When I do this, the 'Cannot go to next keyframe' error dialog appears and will not go away even with repeated clicks of the 'OK'. To app is essentially done at this point and has to be killed.
