I'm sure it won't make a difference, but could you see if the problem persists with the code on this branch? As far as the importer rewrite is going, I've gotten MP3 and OGG working (at least with the basic stuff I've tried). Dominic is working on the libsndfile part, so now I'm wondering what to do about import raw and import MIDI. Dominic said the raw stuff needs refactoring of some sort. No one uses MIDI right now, and I imagine that if we wanted to add real MIDI capability in the future we would be significantly rewriting the MIDI stuff anyway. So is it OK to omit these two for now? Another issue with import RAW is that you don't want the importer to use the RAW importing unless you've specifically requested it. This doesn't fit well with the way I've rewritten the importing system, where every "plugin" is given a chance to handle the file if it recognizes it. Josh |
