I think someone a "long" time ago mentioned that the focus should be given to the controls in the toolbars if the mouse was used to activate them. I'm starting to see the wisdom in that. Your problem wouldn't happen to keyboard only users. It would only mouse/keyboard hybrid users. For now, you can use CTRL-F6 to pop back into the Track view (or just click within it) to use seek. What do ya think we should do here. Something most certainly needs to be done and the idea of not giving focus to the controls when activating may be a good solution. I'm just at a lose of how to implement...how do you tell a button was clicked with the mouse or keyboard? I'll have to ponder it a little. > I'm not sure if this is related but the state of the Play and Stop buttons > can get confused: > Load a track > Click the play button - should start playing > Click play button again (yes I know it's playing but humour me) > Now click the stop button - did it stop? I've even had the occasional hang when randomly clicking them. But, that may have been something else altogether. I'll see if I can track it down. Thanks for checking it out! Leland |
